vegemite barely even sells here in england.

you don't need that much. you're not allowed to give things to campers (as far as i know) and not all americans will want to trade (they get it every year after all)

hey aaron. yep we can take over most foods, including vegimite! just not like seeds or plants, meat, fruit etc. i think the proper info for and links for that are on ccusa forum. I dont even think u have to declare it, but to be safe i'd tick the 'i need to declare food' box thingy. I dont think it can be taken on the plane but it can be packed with ur other luggage underneath. I'd just ring ur travel agent and find out the specifics.

and dan - i was talking to a girl from my camp who's been there before and her campers were allowed to try the vegemite she brought over? i guess it depends on which camp you go to and stuff. i'd just check with the director or a supervisor or something b4 u do it.

I'm definantly bringing PROMITE cos its way better than vegemite haha altho i dont mind vegemite so i'll bring that too. I heard a lot of american camp food (and american food in general) is really sugary- like the breakfast cereals and they love cooked breakfasts every day. So just incase i get sick of it, i'm bringing my promite lol. Also probably tim-tams and some allens lollies and cadbury chocolate because i've tasted american chocolate and it tastes like vomit- lol its gross. And maybe bottled water, i hear there's isnt the nicest....but it'll be heavy- i'll just deal with it haha.
