im about 7 weeks out from camp, im returning to a little place called lincoln city in oregon to the location of the greatest 8 consecutive weeks of my relatively young life...

i ventured over to the usa in 2005 as a young 18 year old interested in working with kids, (as i still am now just 21 and halfway through uni) and hoping for a good experience... little did i know what was ahead of me..

the 8 weeks on camp was the most unbeleivable experience i could have imagined... i made some of the most awesome friends, my campers were the silliest yet most fun i could have imagined... i just hope they havent aged too much and turned into boring farts... lol

once a senior conselor, im returning as older unit head which consists of 11-13 year old boys and girls and comprises somewhere around 8-120 kids... which means im directly responsible for every single one of them and somewhere around 25 counselling and speicality staff... its going to be one huge summer Smile

i cant wait to get back there.. just gotta finish the semester at uni first....

hahahahaha shay that was so random. i'm older than u hahaa yay by 6 days u say? that means we both have our bdays at camp. well- mine will be in the break between end of kid camp and start of family camp so i dont actually think anyone will be around but fellow family camp counsellors to celebrate haha.
