I used to love playing this game at school camps!!

It's called Honey if You Love Me.

Everyone sits in a circle and there is one person in the middle. That person has to try and get others to laugh or smile by saying, "Honey if you love me, you'll smile" to them, one at a time.

And the person who is sitting in the circle and is spoken to must reply without laughing or smiling saying, "Honey I love you, but I just can't smile".

The person in the middle can make it really funny by sitting in their laps, doing dancing and being really serious etc.

the knot game is always fun!

Bus-stop is pretty fun, its a drama game. You have two seats and start of with one person sitting. then get a volunteer to go up next to them and the aim is to make the other person leave. by either saying something or making it awkward or uncomfortable etc. it can end up being really quite funny

Sticky Sticky Glue! The person thats 'it' has to hold out there hands and everyone has to hold a finger. The person thats 'it' has to say something like 'I went to the shop and I bought some sticky sticky....' and then whatever. If the person thats 'it' says Sticky Sticky Glue, then all hell breaks loose and the campers would have to run away. If they get tagged, they have to stand still, with arms out and legs spread wide (like when doing star jumps), and when of the other campers would have to run under their arms/crawl between their legs.

OH OH OH

British Bulldog! One person in the middle, everyone has to run from one side to the other. If they get tagged, their in the middle as well. You win if you're the last one to get tagged.

Not really a game - More of a get to know you.

In the cabin, Have all the kids make up Name Tags for their beds. It creates "Their Space" in the cabin and their creativity shows as well as they make their own sign.

What's best about this - If you suck at remembering names (like me), it's on their bed. It's cheating but a great help!

that game always gets people laughing... even those who arent being targeted or in the middle...

variations in the words always get people... getting emotional is always a winner lol

a game they taught us at orientation is called "tank"

it was in the old staff handbook but i dont think its been included this year


tank requires teams of two people one the "driver" and the other the "gunner"

the gunner is blindfolded and can have up to two pieces of ammo at any time. ammo are found in preferably clean socks bundled up into a ball like shape to achieve the overall hit factor. the more teams the crazier it gets, at orientation we had something like 40 teams in a small space so it got pretty funny... intention of the game, to survive. the driver directs the gunner where to go, where ammo is located (yes ammo can be used over and over) til it comes down to two teams left and one is knocked out...
