So what's the deal with the voltage etc?

Coz I've seen like just converters or whatever you call them, but they say nothing about voltage. Who's good and science and can explain?

I'll just be stealing my Dad's large set of plug adapters. They've worked multiple times across the states, so I think I'll be alright Very Happy

you should be able to get a universal plug that will fit aussie plugs and that will have the voltage converter built in...

check out the local post office and see what they have... i knocked off other peoples ipod charger and used theirs to charge mine lol and then i bought a speaker dock and it came with around the world adapters so i just used that...

as my for my mobile... might have to see what i can get from optus or nokia in regards to a yankee changer... be careful with australian ones over there....

wouldnt have a clue... id probably suggest not to.. in regards to having to cart it around everywhere you end up going... you arent going to need that much power anyway... some camps like mine ban mobile phone use :S so i dont think you wont get much use out of it anyway..

powerboards in australia are different to yankee ones so yeah id advise you not to take it but ill ask my brother whos a sparky and see what he says...

Shay,

Power supplies at camp are probably very limited as it is... You'd be lucky to get enough power to have 3 or 4 things plugged in at once!

What do you need a power board for anyway chick? Camp is all about going back to BASICS Smile I'd say dont worry about taking one and get one from Walmart or whatever when your there if you need it.

I think a powerboard is a waste of space. Especially when you can use that other space for CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im only needing my ipod and camera charger. So ill just be using a single adapter/transformer.
